Floral Park Memorial High School’s seventh-grade class saw the movie Wonder on Dec. 13 at Franklin Square Theater.
In their health classes, the students discuss the topic of bullying, which directly relates to the movie. After the movie, the students returned to school where they enjoyed pizza and activities in the gym. They also created their own precepts, which were shared with the entire class. Students received t-shirts that said “Choose Kind.” This was a major theme in the movie and is constantly stressed throughout the school’s health curriculum.
