In what has become a Memorial Day tradition, members of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce will be giving away hand-held American flags to parade-goers who attend Port’s Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30.
Chamber of Commerce President Debbie Greco Cohen said, “This is the 41st year that Chamber volunteers precede the parade and hand out thousands of free flags. Everyone in the Chamber is very proud to be a part of this effort to honor our veterans.”
Come to Main Street May 30 to honor our wonderful veterans. You will be rewarded by the heartwarming sight of friends and neighbors, young and old, waving their flags as the proud veterans in the parade pass by.
