The Great Neck Alert Fire Company is pleased to announce the installation of the 2023 officers of the Great Neck Alert Junior Firefighters.
The new officers are (from l-r): Amanda Lee, financial secretary; Juliette Gonzalez, second lieutenant; Nicole Garcia, captain; Catherine Chang, first lieutenant; and Hyunjun Chang, recording secretary.
The installation and presentation took place at the Alert Fire Company Headquarters located at 555 Middle Neck Road.
The Junior Firefighters program is for young adults between the ages of 12 and 17. The juniors meet twice a month and receive training in first aid, CPR, fire safety and participate in other firefighting drills and activities.
