North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and Councilwoman Veronica Lurvey recently took part in a mock town hall session with a group of Girl Scouts from Troop 633 in Great Neck.
The girls, most of whom are in seond grade, were given a tour of the historic Town Hall building in Manhasset, learned about the history of the Town, and were provided with an opportunity to take part in a mock board session where they learned about how our Town government works.
