North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena, Council Member Peter Zuckerman, Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman, and Town Clerk Ragini Srivastava attended the New Hyde Park North Little League Opening Day ceremony at the Merillon Complex on April 23.
Town officials wished the coaches, players and parents the best of luck this season, and helped kick off the season.
The New Hyde Park North Little League has been teaching hundreds of children the important values of teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility and commitment since its inception more than 70 years ago.
They serve the communities of New Hyde Park, Herricks, Lake Success, Great Neck, and Lakeville Estates.
