‘Chalk the Town’ at Manhasset Al Fresco presented by Beautify Manhasset
The Beautify Manhasset membership that is offered to the public for $45 enables the chamber to decorate Plandome Road throughout the year.

“Chalk the Town” presented by the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce will be held at the next Manhasset Al Fresco on July 25 from 3:30-9:30 p.m.

In order to bring awareness and promote Manhasset Beautification to the community, children will be given chalk to draw pictures and inspirational quotes to decorate the sidewalks of Manhasset!

The chamber has always been at the forefront of beautifying Manhasset. The Manhasset Chamber of Commerce wants to welcome all who live, visit and work here. Donations are sought annually to transform Plandome Road with flowers in all its splendor.

Starting with flowers in the spring and continuing with flowering baskets and planters under the Adopt-A-Pole/Planter campaign for the summer.

In autumn, cornstalks adorn Plandome Road representing the harvest season continuing with greens and red bows adorning the poles for the holiday season.

The Beautify Manhasset membership that is offered to the public for $45 enables the chamber to decorate for the fall and winter and plant flowers and foliage in the new planters which decorate the road.

Residents and businesses may sponsor Summer Planters in memory of or to promote a business for $140 including name recognition.

Thank you to our summer planter sponsors Olive & Duntley, Stella Biniaris Florals, Raindew, Manhasset Florist and Lincar Salon. The planters were planted by a local florist and 8 planters are available for sponsorship, and they are flourishing!

Beautification is a key aspect of community development and the Chamber strongly believes a pleasant community appearance adds to home values, helps attract business investments and improves the neighborhood reputation.

Our goal is to make Plandome Road more attractive to its residents and visitors and create a culture that understands the importance of aesthetics. Your support will help us achieve this goal.

Promoting shop small, shop local, eat local, all are invited to be a part of this powerful homegrown organization which partners with an even larger and more powerful organization, the Nassau County Chambers of Commerce, each year selecting a business which would be named Business of the Year. The Chamber encourages to Shop Manhasset!
