Three New Hyde Park Memorial High School students – Izhaan Ahmed, Nathaniel Park and David Ren – were selected to participate in or as an alternate in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State Winter Conference.
Ahmed was chosen to perform in the All-State Symphonic Band on the tuba, while Park was selected as an alternate on the trombone for the All-State Symphonic Band and Ren was selected as an alternate on violin for the All-State Symphony Orchestra.
The NYSSMA All-State Winter Conference is scheduled to take place Dec. 1-4. in Rochester, NY.
