Small businesses and for-profit art groups can still apply for Pandemic Small Business Recover grants from New York State. The grants are between $5,000 and $50,000 per applicant.
To be eligible, you must be able to show a loss of at least 25% in gross receipts in 2020 compared to 2019. The grants can be used for several expenses, including payroll and rent.

In addition to the Small Business Recovery Grant program, Assemblywoman Gina Sillitti would like us to inform Port Washington small businesses that New York State is offering tax credits for eligible small businesses under the $250 million COVID-19 Capital Costs Tax Credit Program. This is on a first come first serve basis until funds are depleted.
Businesses with 100 or fewer employees and $2.5 million or fewer in gross receipts for the 2021 tax year can apply if they have at least $2,000 in eligible costs. To learn more about the program, visit:
