In its grand re-opening event on August 20, the Art League of Long Island celebrates its triumph over adversity and invites the public to join them.
The pandemic almost closed the Art League for good, but through the support of the community and government programs, the Art League has managed to weather the storm. The Open House, which takes place from 11 am to 2 pm that day, kicks off the opening reception of the Art League’s Annual Instructor’s Exhibition.
The Art League’s Annual Instructor’s Exhibition features works by its many talented instructors in the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery Aug. 20 through Sept. 22.
The open house offers visitors a first-hand look at the inner workings in the Art League’s specialized art studios through live demonstrations by the instructors. Demonstrations include painting, drawing, pottery, jewelry making, and more.
ands-on activities for all ages from 5 to 95+. Meet the instructors and learn about their classes and approach to teaching.
