Four men busted in six burglaries across N. Shore

Four men were charged Monday with multiple burglaries throughout Nassau County, including Lake Success, Herricks, Mineola and Manhasset, police said.

Six burglaries occurred between Nov. 26, 2022, and Jan. 18, 2023, when David Rodriguez Paez, 25, of Colombia; Andres Felipe Rayo Lugo, 19, of Flushing; Kevin Santiago Siabato Canon, 19, of Colombia; and Andre Felipe Canon Ibanez, 23, of Colombia allegedly drove to the victims’ residencies in a Chevrolet Equinox and forcibly gained entry through a window, police said.

While inside, the four allegedly stole money, credit cards, jewelry and a handgun, among other items, police said.

In total, the proceeds from the burglaries amounted to $82,000 police said.

On Jan. 18, the four men were allegedly inside a Lake Success house on Pine Hill Road when an alarm went off and they fled in a Ford Edge before Lake Succes police officers stopped them.

During a search, the officers recovered a firearm and detained the four men.

The four were charged with various counts of burglary and two counts each of attempted burglary, police said. The six reported robberies took place in Herricks on Nov. 26, twice in Jericho on Dec. 18, in Plainview on Dec. 29, in Mineola on Jan. 2 and Manhasset on Jan. 9.
