Queens man busted in yet another Great Neck burglary: Cops

A Queens man who has been arrested multiple times for burglaries around Great Neck was apprehended again Sunday, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the Starbucks at 6 Great Neck Rd. in Great Neck Plaza at 2:20 a.m. When they arrived, Jung Su Kim, 58, of Flushing, was discovered to be inside the establishment illegally, the cops said. The officers detained him.

Kim has been charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of burglary tools, according to police. On Sunday, he was arraigned in the First District Court.

On July 31, Kim was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, the authorities said. He was released without bond Aug. 1.

Police said Kim is also allegedly responsible for two burglaries that took place in Great Neck and Great Neck Plaza on April 2 and  April 27. He was also detained on Sept. 16, 2021, and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, they said.
