Until further notice, all future Board of Zoning Appeals hearings and meetings will be held via videoconferencing, as permitted by the NYS Open Meetings Law. Due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend at the remote locations where the Board members will be situated. The public, however, will be able to fully observe the videoconferencing hearing and comment at appropriate times.† To the extent internet access is not available; the public can attend and participate via telephone by dialing the number listed in the Zoom information provided below. The Board of Zoning Appeals calendar is available online in advance of the meetings at https://www.northhempsteadny.gov/bza and the public can email written comments or questions addressed to the Board at [email protected]. Questions and/or comments will be accepted and made a part of the record, prior†to the meeting, during the meeting and up until 4:30 PM on Friday, JANUARY 15, 2021. Any member of the public who has questions regarding the aforementioned process should contact the Secretary to the Board in advance of the meeting at [email protected]. Anyone having difficulty connecting to the meeting should contact Zoom for IT assistance during the meeting.†This hearing will be transcribed and a copy of the transcript will be made available on the Town website.
