The Italian eatery and pizzeria at 997 Northern Blvd. in Manhasset first opened its doors for Christmas of 1997 and has the same owners, Abraham and Tim Dafku, and the majority of the same staff, Abraham said.

“Over the 20 years, we’ve kept our prices the same,” Abraham said. “It’s not about profit, but about providing the service for our customers.”

Inspired by Italy’s romantic nature and tradition, Abraham said they sought to deliver a restaurant dedicated to the authentic spirit of Italy.

Abraham said Antonino’s prides itself on its fresh ingredients, and deliveries are made every day to perfect the eggplant rollatino and chicken scarpariello. The menu is filled with all things Italian, featuring pastas, pizzas and veal dishes alongside a dessert menu.

During the restaurant’s two decades in Manhasset, Abraham said the business has always been supportive of local charities and initiatives.

“We’ve always been here for the village,” Abraham said. “Anybody asks for a donation or for anything, we’ve always been there for Manhasset.”

Abraham said many of his customers are regulars who have been coming with their friends and families for years.

“It’s a family business,” Abraham said. “Antonino’s isn’t a business, it’s like home, and the customers are like our family.”

For the 20th anniversary this winter, he said the restaurant will offer discounts and specials.

Antonino’s is open for lunch and dinner from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and stays open until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
