North Hills to host election for incumbents only

The Village of North Hills will be hosting an election this June with all the incumbents running unopposed.

The election will be held from noon to 9 p.m. June 20 at the North Hills village hall at One Shelter Rock Road.

The four offices up for election are the mayor, two trustees and the village justice. All officers serve four-year terms.

Mayor Marvin Natiss, Trustee and Deputy Mayor Dennis Sgambati, Trustee Gail Cohen and Village Justice Jerome Reisman are running again for their current seats.

Natiss will be running for his sixth term on the board. Sgambati was initially appointed to fill a vacancy on the board and is seeking his sixth re-election. Cohen is running for her fourth term.

Reisman was appointed as the village justice in December 2018 to fill a vacancy and was elected for his current term in June 2019. This would be his second election but he is seeking a third term.

All candidates are running under the Homeowner Party.
