Over $2K in perfume snatched from Victoria’s Secret in NHP

The Victoria’s Secret in New Hyde Park was one of two stores that were involved in grand larcenies last week.

Four men walked into the 1450 Union Turnpike location on last Thursday shortly before 3 p.m., police said. They continued to then remove approximately 50 perfume items that police said are valued at over $2,300 before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

One suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 6-foot-2 and wearing a camouflage jacket and black pants. The second suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 5-foot-10and wearing a camouflage jacket and jeans.

The other two subjects were described as black, in their 20s and each wearing a dark sweatshirt and dark pants. 

An hour before, four men walked into the Victoria’s Secret in Oceanside and took perfumes that police said were valued at approximately $6,000. The four suspects left the store, passing all points of purchase, and fled on foot southbound on Long Beach Road. 

Police are asking for anyone with information on the larcenies to call 1-800-244-TIPS.
