Manhasset-based MHW Ltd., a beer, wine and spirits company, has acquired BevStrat, a beverage marketing company.
The deal, announced Tuesday, will allow customers to take advantage of the two companies’ services as a joint package should they choose, according to a MHW news release.
MHW would not disclose the value of the deal.
BevStrat is based in Chicago, where it will remain and continue operating independently.
“MHW and BevStrat’s combined services will provide unprecedented market access and impact for thousands of beverage alcohol brands around the globe,” BevStrat founder and President Brian Rosen said in a statement.
MHW, founded in 1934, imports alcohol from more than 80 countries, according to its website. It also helps brands distribute to Europe.
Its headquarters are on Northern Boulevard.
BevStrat assists smaller brands manage sales and marketing, according to its website.
