Viking pride will be front and center when the North Shore School District celebrates homecoming Saturday.

While some North Shore High School teams play on Friday, fan events will take place the next day. These include a football game, fan fest and student carnival.

The K-12 Student Carnival will be held at the field behind North Shore High School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wristbands for $5 will be available. Virtual reality, a picture booth, food and other attractions are expected. At noon, there will be a singing session with Superintendent Chris Zublionis.

The Pre-Game Fan Fest will begin at 1 p.m at the North Shore High School Stadium. The cheerleaders, pep band and drum line will perform.

At 2 p.m., North Shore and the Clarke Rams will play in the homecoming football game as the Vikings try to pillage their way to a 5-0 record.

The district will host photo sessions with all Hall of Fame athletes and alumni during halftime of the homecoming game. Each quarter will also feature “Alumni Appreciation Shout-Outs” to recognize graduating classes by decade.

The Hall of Fame Ceremony begins at 5 p.m. in the gymnasium of North Shore High School.

The district will offer free shuttle service all day long to and from North Shore High School and the elementary schools.
