A Roslyn Estates home was broken into early Wednesday morning by three unknown individuals, according to Nassau County Police.

The break-in of the home on The Birches occurred at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday when three suspects entered the rear yard of the home. They then pried open a rear window of the residence and entered the home through the window, police said.

When the suspects endered the home, police said the alarm system was triggered and all three fled. The trio drove away in a white four-door sedan, driving northbound on The Birches towards The Maple, according to police.

Police said the the investigation was ongoing and there were no further descriptions of the suspects.

Detectives were asking that anyone with information about the Roslyn Estates break-in contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
