John Lewis Childs School fifth grader Mythreyi Pillai has recently self-published her book, “Magic in The Door.” Pillai began writing the story during her summer break after third grade. The book is about a girl and her adventures with a supernatural door in her new room. The illustrations were created by Bhagath Premdeep.
Pillai is currently working on the second book. She plans to read “Magic in The Door” aloud to her peers in Patricia Olson’s class.
