Great Neck South High School Sophomores, Sebastian Lennox and Jillian Chang, placed second in the Group Websites category of the New York State National History Day competition.
They now move on to the National Competition in June. This year’s competition theme is “Communication in History: The Key To Understanding.” The students created a website called “Print Media in the Age of Revolution: A Courier of Unity.” South High students participated under the guidance of the school History Club advised by Ms. Frances Tria. Sebastian and Jillian are the only students from Great Neck to move on to the National competition.
