In honor of Martin Luther King Day, John Lewis Childs School second graders in Alyssa Borg’s class learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream of equality.

After reading “A Picture Book of Martin Luther King Jr.” and “Martin’s Big Words,” the class shared their own dreams for the world. The students hoped for no more bullies, no animal cruelty, no homelessness, no littering and more. Each student wrote down their dreams and decorated a dream cloud as part of an “I Have a Dream” collaborative banner for the classroom.
