Port students win top honors at science and engineering fairs

Paul D. Schreiber High School students won 15 different awards in various categories between the recent Long Island Science and Engineering Fair and the New York State Science and Engineering Fair.

The district congratulates these students, as well as teachers Ray Divenuto, Marla Ezratty, Tina Gallagher, George Muhlbauer and John Schineller for guiding these incredible young minds.

“Schreiber research students continue to make their mark in these prestigious and very selective competitions,” said Superintendent Kathleen Mooney. “Equally impressive is the wide range of interests and disciplines they study. From the environment … to medicine … to social sciences, they have the key concerns and issues affecting our world covered.”
