New Hyde Park Memorial High School student Isabella Chu has been selected as a Long Island Scholar Artist in the category of visual arts for the 2023-24 school year. The honor is given by the Long Island Arts Alliance, who developed the program to present outstanding high school-age artists to the public in monthly profiles that appear in Newsday. Chu was among 20 students selected from across Long Island.
