Students from the Willets Road School in the East Williston School District were treated to a special performance from The Yale Whiffenpoofs.
The Yale Whiffenpoofs are the oldest collegiate acapella ensemble in the United States. The group of 14 seniors travel the world during their final year at Yale to perform more than 200 concerts. This cultural arts assembly was brought to the school thanks to the Cultural Arts Committee and the PTO in order to provide students with connections between academics and the arts. Following the performance, Willets Road students were able to ask questions of the ensemble.
