Zachary Kayal is the Head of Marketing & Business Development at Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC in Westbury.
After graduating cum laude from the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra University, Zachary has spent the last several years pursuing a career in digital marketing with a focus on social media advertising.
He has been awarded Long Island’s 30 under 30 and listed as one of the top 100 people in real estate in 2019.
Of late, Zachary is most proud of his contribution to the development of Lynx’s first-ever online application, giving their borrowers the ability to apply for a mortgage from the comfort of their own homes.
Additionally, Zachary and his team have developed a mobile loan tracking app that has given their clients the power to track their loans from start to finish from the palm of their hands.
When asked what the future holds, Zachary had this to say: “I am optimistic about my personal growth along with the continued success of Lynx Mortgage Bank. I’m a true believer in the idea that knowledge is power. In our ever-changing digital climate, staying ahead of the curve is vital. I look forward to all that the future holds.”
Additionally, he had this to add: “I think the most important lesson I have learned over these last two years is just how precious life is. The last few years have been challenging for everyone and I have learned to enjoy every moment I am given, both professionally and personally.”
Furthermore, Zachary is humbled to share that he has been selected to represent New York in Marquis’ Who’s Who in America, highlighting Entrepreneurs and Business Owners with remarkable professional achievements.
Zachary believes that people are his greatest asset, and the relationships he builds with his peers are a key component to constructing a successful career.
What has enabled Zachary’s accomplishments, is his dedication to the success of his team and most importantly an eagerness to advance and to learn. “We are never done learning, every day I try and learn something new. This has enabled me to be fortunate enough to have a taste of success at a young age. Most importantly are the connections I build with people. The people I surround myself with are always going to be my biggest advantage. Taking time to grow a friendship with someone who shares a common goal as myself has been an instrumental part of my life.
‘There are countless people I have met through the years, all of which have helped shape the man I am today, and I hope I was able to do the same for them. Although we are all on our own path, at the end of the day we are all human and there is more to life than just being successful. Taking the time to really get to know someone and what he or she may be going through, in my opinion, is how you truly become a better person. We never know what the future holds, and if you’re fortunate enough to have a great team by your side, then there is nothing you will not be able to overcome.”
During his personal time, Zachary enjoys traveling, recently returning from visiting Portugal. He has a passion for health and fitness and is always seeking the next adventure. His closest friends see him as an event organizer and planner, always putting together something to look forward to, whether it be a weekend getaway or a European excursion.
After growing up and graduating high school in Sparta, N.j, Zachary now calls Long Island his home.
Zachary concluded by stating that he would not be where he was today if it were not for the guidance from his family and friends, and especially the mentorship from his team at Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC.
