Six student artists from The Wheatley School in East Williston recently had their work featured in this year’s NYSATA Art in the Heart Exhibit at the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City. The exhibit was on display from Aug. 18 through Sept. 2, 2023.

Congratulations to Audrey Chen, Amy Deng, Dean Dourmas, Noah Gorlewsk, Sabrina Pezzillo and Sofia Ramos who were honored during a reception at LICM on Aug. 19, with a reception for artists and their families.

The district just received the artwork back and is looking forward to displaying this work in the Wheatley Art gallery during Academic Awards.
