Request for Proposals for Storm Drain Cleaning and Maintenance The Inc. Village of Bellerose hereby requests proposals from qualified contractors for the cleaning and maintenance of approximately 65 storm drains located within the Village boundaries. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following:• Removal of debris, sediment, and vegetation from the storm drain inlets, outlets, and pipes.• Inspection and repair of any damaged or defective storm drain components.• Disposal of all waste materials in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.• Preparation and submission of a detailed report of the work performed, including before and after photos, GPS coordinates, and any recommendations for future maintenance. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder who meets the specifications and requirements of the Village. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “Storm Drain Cleaning and Maintenance” and delivered to the Village Clerk’s Office at 50 Superior Road, Bellerose, NY 11001 no later than 12:00 p.m. on May 15, 2024. Proposals received after this time and date will not be considered. Proposals must include the following information:• The name, address, phone number, and email address of the contractor.• A description of the contractor’s qualifications and experience in performing similar work.• A list of references from previous clients who can attest to the quality and timeliness of the contractor’s work.• A detailed breakdown of the cost of the work, including labor, materials, equipment, and any other expenses.• A proposed schedule for completing the work, including the start and end dates and the estimated hours of work per day.• A copy of the contractor’s license, insurance, and bonding certificates.• Any other information that the contractor deems relevant to the proposal.
