PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Incorporated Village of East Williston will convene to hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 7:30 PM at Village Hall, located at 2 Prospect Street, East Williston, New York, on the following applications:

New Cases:

Application of Paulina & Xaver Le Gall for a variance of Article IV Residence A District (RA)  Section 160-14 of the Municipal Code of the Village of East Williston requesting a rear yard depth of 12’-0” where 20’-0” is allowed on the property owned by them in a Residence RA District and located at 199 Charles Street, East Williston, New York 11596, also known as Section 9, Block 525, Lot 73 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

Application of Kim L. Horan for a variance of Article IX Supplementary Use and Dimensional Regulations Section 130-62 of the Municipal Code of the Village of East Williston requesting a 1.94’ setback where a 5.0’ setback is allowed on the property owned by her in a Residence RB District and located at 99 High Street, East Williston, New York 11596, also known as Section 9, Block 570, Lot 397 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

Application of John Alessandri for a variance of Article IX Supplementary Use and Dimensional Regulations Section 130-32 (C) requesting a setback of 3’6” where a 5.0’ minimum setback is allowed, and Section 130-32 (D) requesting a width of larger than 12’ where a maximum width of 12’ is allowed, and a setback of 1.94’ where a 5.0’ minimum setback is allowed on the property owned by him in a Residence RB District and located at 446 Sagamore Avenue, also known as Section 9, Block 345, Lot 98 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

Application of Johnson & Cindy Wong for variances of the Code of the Village of East Williston: (1) Article V Section 160-18 E requesting a front yard setback on Concord Street of 19.7’ where a minimum 30.85’ setback is allowed and (2) requesting a front yard setback on High Street of 25.1’ where a 29.86’ setback; and (3) Article IX  Section 160-37 requesting to maintain a fence/retaining wall in the front yard where no fence or wall is allowed to be erected in a front yard on the property owned by them in a Residence RB District and located at 186 Concord Street, also known as Section 9, Block 565, Lot 424 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

The applications, plans and specifications are on file at the Office of the Village Clerk, 2 Prospect Street, East Williston.  At said time and place of Hearing as aforesaid stated all persons who wish to be heard will be heard.
