North Hempstead Council Member Mariann Dalimonte recently had the pleasure of congratulating Alan and Sue Dinn on their retirement after many years of service to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Port Washington.

Dalimonte presented the Dinns with a Proclamation of Recognition on behalf of the Town of North Hempstead for their exemplary work at the church.

“Alan and Sue have been married for 54 years and inseparable partners in all pursuits,” said Dalimonte. “Alan has been a life-long member of St. Stephen’s, and became the Lay Reader, Eucharistic Minister, and Clerk of the Vestry. Sue served as the Alter Guild, revitalized and maintained the cloister garden, and helped run the plant sales at the fair and carnival every year. Thank you, Alan and Sue, for your many years of devoted service and faithful example.”
