Elmont Memorial High School senior Uduak Isaiah was honored with the Long Island Association of Football Officials’ 2017 Unsung Hero Award.

Uduak’s commitment to his coaches and teammates was evident through his perfect attendance through the last four years of football. He was the ultimate team player, constantly pushing himself and his teammates to get better each and every day. Uduak has the heart of a giant, and his constant sacrifice for the greater good of his team was truly inspiring to both his coaches and teammates. He is the epitome of a role model for all high school athletes.
