Temple Beth-El of Great Neck hosts 3rd Annual Shabbacappella Weekend
Tizmoret, Queens College Hillel’s Jewish a cappella group returns to Temple Beth-El on November 3 and 4.

If you loved GLEE, Sing! or Pitch Perfect, get your vocal chords ready for the 3rd Annual Shabbacappella weekend hosted by Temple Beth-El of Great Neck.

Shabbacappella is a Shabbat weekend of fun and a cappella music centered around a residency by a visiting vocal ensemble.

For the weekend of Nov. 3-5, get ready for an amazing musical Shabbat experience as the award-winning Tizmoret professional Jewish a cappella group returns to TBE for Shabbacappella!

The ensemble will be joining Cantor Adam Davis, who organized the weekend, at a Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday evening preceded by a kosher catered dinner (advance registration required).

On Saturday, Nov. 4, the a cappella group returns for Harmony & Havdalah, a special evening that includes an encore concert performance as well as a participatory song circle, ending with a dessert reception (advance registration required).

“Tizmoret is one of the best ensembles out there and I’m thrilled they’re returning for Shabbacappella. It has become a signature weekend for our community and the whole room fills with their voices and ours,” says Cantor Davis.
