The Great Neck Library is sponsoring a special lecture event titled Through the Eyes of Survivor Irving Roth, presented by Donna Rosenblum, at the Main Library, 159 Bayview Ave. in Great Neck, on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.

Donna Rosenblum, a retired public school educator, adjunct professor at Long Island University, Molloy University, and educator at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County will discuss Irving Roth’s life and his testimony as a Holocaust survivor.

Roth was born in Humenne, Czechoslovakia, fled to Hungary where he was deported to Auschwitz and then Buchenwald. Ms. Rosenblum will share his personal stories and his mission of Never Forget.

Copies of Mr. Irving Roth’s self-published book, Bondi’s Brother: A Story of Love, Loss, Betrayal and Liberation, will be available for purchase.  Registration is recommended.  For more information, please contact the Great Neck Library at (516) 466-8055 or email [email protected].
