Sewanhaka High School celebrated its Students of the Month for May. Each department at the high school selects students who demonstrated academic achievement and also served as a positive influence in the classroom.
This months winners are: Tyesha Devil, for art, Kathya Zecena Escobar, for Business, Keziah Joseph, for career education, Tyler Bowden, for English, Perla Medrano Lopez, for English as a new language, Michael Gugilelmo, for math, Zane Small, for music, Jessica Diaz, for physical education/health, Alina Adnan, for science, Michael Murphy and Chrian Nerys, for social studies, and Romesha Khan, for world language.
