The New Hyde Park Knights of Columbus 2852 held there Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 9 at 9 am on the Notre Dame School lawn in North New Hyde Park.
It was looking cloudy but when the egg hunt was about to begin the sun peaked in to brighten up the event. The Easter Egg Hunters Noemi, Charli, Maura, Max and Emma were having a great time gathering their eggs.
Little Charli shouted during her hunt, “This is the better day ever!” and from the looks of it they all sure were. Smiles everywhere as they lined up with their baskets ready to grab some Easter eggs.
They were tasked first to grab 3 green eggs only and then back to the starting line, then 4 blue, then 3 oranges, until all the colors were picked. The Easter bunny was hoping in on the fun waving and visiting everyone at the event. The prize winners were Maura, Emma and Max winning an Easter basket but don’t worry each child left with a nice little gift bag.
