Adult weekly Chair Yoga (Hybrid) continues.

At the Library, you’ll find Irish Heritage Cooking with Chef Barbara Sheridan; Bagpipes Calling, a live screening with filmmaker Andrea Wozny; NYS Comptroller’s Unclaimed Funds; Spring Jewelry Making with always popular Cathy Buckley; Mah Jongg; and Monday Night Game Nites for Grownups. The Empire State Defensive Driving Class is in session this month, and the Winter English Language Learners program wraps up at month’s end.

The Friends of the Library host Irish Trivia Night on Wednesday, March 24.
ZOOM programs for Adults include Healthy Eating for Busy Professionals and Families on the Go with Health Coach Lisa Zimmerman; Meditation for Stress Reduction; Tales of Women at Sea presented by the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum; and What Stays/What Goes – an Organizer’s Guide to Making Decisions from OrganizeMe!ofNY.
The Floral Park Book Club March selection is Pete Hamill’s “Why Sinatra Matters.” The Library Board meets in person on Wednesday, March 9th at 7:30 pm.

Children’s programs include Family Pre-school Hour Tots Night Out and Babystart with a Time for Kids; Play Hooray, Storytime, Funkytown Playground; Crafts with Theresa Colon; Chess for Kids; and the Passport Club for Kids in grades 1 and 2. P[art]y Art returns with a program for those in grades 2 thru 5.

Teens and Tweens earn community service with their participation in the Teen Pet Adopt Me Bandana project for dogs and as buddies to the younger set as part of “Read Across America.” For fun, there’s the Teen Chess Club and a P[art]y Art program.

For the family, a Chefs of d’Future hands on cooking program is on the Library menu.
The Made with Love Knitting and Crocheting group meets weekly Mondays at 6:30 pm and Wednesdays at 11:30 am. The Town of Hempstead Vaxmobile will be at the Library on Thursday, March 10.
