North Shore Schools meet and greet for central office administrators

We invite everyone in the North Shore community to “Meet & Greet” new Central Office Administrators including Chris Zublionis, Superintendent of the North Shore Schools, Carol Smyth, Interim Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and James Pappas, Assistant Superintendent for Business, on Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Central Office, 112 Franklin Ave., in Sea Cliff.

Please also mark your calendars and join us for “Coffee with Chris” meetings scheduled in September through November on the following dates:

  • Coffee with Chris, Sept. 13, Central Office, at 9:30 a.m.
  • Coffee with Chris, Oct. 20, Central Office, at 7 p.m.
  • Coffee with Chris, Nov. 29, MS Library, at 7 p.m.

These are informal conversations with the Superintendent to engage parents and residents in discussions on various important school and community topics, communicate the goals for our schools and students and answer questions.

Please save these dates for the many “Budget Bootcamp” meetings that will be hosted in December through February by Superintendent Chris Zublionis and Assistant Superintendent for Business, James Pappas:

  • Budget Bootcamp, Dec. 20, Central Office, at 9:30 a.m.
  • Budget Bootcamp, Jan. 10, Central Office, at 9:30 a.m.
  • Budget Bootcamp, Jan. 24, MS Library, at 7 p.m.
  • Budget Bootcamp, Feb. 7, MS Library, at 7 p.m.

As you know, it is very important for the community to come out and remain engaged in the budget process. Please mark your calendars and join us for these important Budget Bootcamp meetings regarding the school budget, processes and procedures, tax cap and tax levy and specific challenges faced by the North Shore Schools – just to name a few!
