Council Member Viviana Russell recently honored the former Executive Director of the Senior Citizens of Westbury Maureen Droge on Sept. 22 at Verdi’s in Westbury.
Droge has served the residents of the Westbury community with distinction for over 23 years. She retired from her position in September 2020.
Russell commended Droge for her tenacity, work ethic, and passion for working with the community. She also presented Droge with a citation to recognize her efforts during her tenure.
