North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Members Peter Zuckerman and Veronica Lurvey, along with Town Clerk Wayne Wink attended the Manhasset/Great Neck Economic Opportunity Council Gala on June 20 at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck. The gala was hosted in support of the EOC’s summer program which mentors children and adults in education, recreation, and cultural experiences.
Supervisor Bosworth congratulated honorees Anna Kaplan, North Hempstead Housing Authority Executive Director Sean Rainey, Jeffery Weisman, Adventures in Learning, and Minnie Carpenter for their involvement within the community. All honorees were selected for their dedication to supporting the community and its residents.
