North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena recently met with volunteers of the Shelter Rock Church food pantry at the EOC Building in Great Neck to distribute free COVID tests provided by Nassau County. The Shelter Rock Church Food Pantry is an important community service initiative that provides meals to about 150 families a week, double the number as compared to before the pandemic. Supervisor DeSena met with volunteers including Jane Lucey and Gina Kang (pictured here) and commended them for the amazing work they do to better our community.
