Town’s nonpartisan temporary redistricting commission to host 3 public hearings

The Town of North Hempstead’s Nonpartisan Temporary Redistricting Commission has announced the three public hearings will be held in May. The public hearings will feature a presentation about the recent 2020 Census and allow for comments from the public.

The upcoming hearings will be held on:

Monday, May 9 at 6 p.m. at Town Hall (220 Plandome Road, Manhasset)
Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park (1601 Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park)
Tuesday, May 17 at 7 p.m. at the “Yes We Can” Community Center (141 Garden Street, Westbury)

The feedback from the public hearings will be compiled and taken into account during the redistricting process.
