Happening at the Williston Park Library

The library is collaborating with Joseph Benincasa from State Farm Insurance in Farmingdale in collecting medical supplies for people in Ukraine. The following are needed: Tylenol, aspirin, Benadryl, band-aids (all sizes), saline eye drops, adhesive tape rolls (2-3”), tweezers, safety pins, triple antiobitic ointment (full size), caffeine pills, gauze, antiseptic wipes, gloves, CPR masks, big cinch abdominal bandages. There is a donation box in the library by the front window. Collection is only until March 31.
Wearing a mask in the library is now optional. This will remain in effect as long as Nassau County is considered a low transmission area. The Library Board reserves the right to amend the policy in accordance with Governor Hochul and CDC guidelines.
The library is distributing Covid-19 self-test kits while supplies last.
