A Brooklyn man was charged with entering a Manhasset Hills home on Christmas Day and assaulting two people while looking to confront his former employer about being terminated, Nassau County police said.

Kar Toong, 37, of Brooklyn, arrived Monday at a Robby Lane residence at 4:16 p.m. and began yelling and cursing, police said. The homeowner’s son, 48, and grandson, 7, opened the front door before Toong allegedly kicked the door and forcibly entered the home.

Toong struck the homeowner’s son with a closed fist and the 7-year-old boy’s grandmother, 74, injured her left hand while trying to intervene, police said.

After being removed from the home, Toong kicked the passenger door of a 2014 Toyota Sienna before officers responded to the scene and arrested him.

The man and woman were injured during the incident, suffering pain and swelling to their hands and refused medical treatment, police said.

Toong was charged with burglary in the first degree, assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
