Once more fall has returned to me,
full of color, with interior and exterior spaces.
The red leaves of the maple tree revealed,
vivid and knitted together where the light strikes,
filled with the potential light makes
against a brilliant panel of blue reaching skyward,
shimmering with distinction.
Somewhere time stirs, but what difference
a lifetime makes, and to know
what riches are made of.
