The current tawdry scrum of liars and hypocrites who make up the neo-fascist Trumputin personality cult posing as the Republican Party is a perverse lot. U.S. Sens. Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton seemed to relish, even enjoy, retelling the pedophile perversions they pretended to decry during their sound bite assault on our new Supreme Court Justice.
These Trumputin neo-fascists love their racist “CRT” dog whistle with which they distract their gullible marks while they pick their pockets.
Locally we have the Nassau Republicans, typified by the persistent corruption of former County Executive Ed Mangano and the late GOP Party boss Joseph Margiotta. In this tradition of crony corruption and dog whistle politics, we have Bruce Blakeman repaying an otherwise unqualified campaign contributor with the chairmanship of the NUMC and his crony corruption continues.
When will would-be “Republican” voters understand that “CRT” and “wokeness” are not the source of what grieves them, but a distraction designed to confuse and abuse them?
