Third graders at E.M. Baker School are using technology and creativity to spread cheer to young patients at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
During a lesson about the three-dimensional design process, students created 3D-printed crayon containers to donate to the hospital. Inspired by Baker’s recent Kindness Challenge Week, the students’ designs contained “get well” messages and inspirational words to bring smiles to the children’s faces.
To top it off, the Baker PTO donated more than 1,500 crayons to fill the containers.
