On Nov. 18 and 19, Herricks High School presented “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” at the Herricks Community Center directed by Laura Latham. This adaptation of the classic 1946 Frank Capra film was written by Joe Landry and puts a new twist on the production by making it a “live radio broadcast” of the script. The students studied the history of sound effects, fashion of the 1940s and colloquialisms of the period to bring an added layer of authenticity to the show.
