Katie Duffy-Schumacher, founder and president of Don’t Press Send, Inc., visited East Hills Elementary School to host an assembly for 3rd and 4th-grade students.
Schumacher, a New York State certified teacher who founded Don’t Press Send in Rockville Centre, has made it her mission to discuss the challenges of raising children who are growing up with social media as their primary means of communication.
She is dedicated to helping today’s children, adolescents and adults embrace the benefits of technology while avoiding its pitfalls.
