Special fall events in the Great Neck Park District

Sun., Oct. 9, the Great Neck Park District offered their residents a day of fun and frolic to celebrate the fall season, at Steppingstone Park.

Everyone enjoyed the pony rides, petting zoo, inflatables, football on our big LED screen, food trucks, ice cream and more. It was enjoyable for the whole family.
Sun., Oct. 16, Park District residents were able to enjoy the Scarecrow Festival, also located at Steppingstone Park, to enjoy creating and taking home their very own scarecrow. In addition to building a scarecrow, the event included delicious refreshments, a children’s movie and lots of quality time with the family.

Coming up in the GN Park District are the following events:

Fright-Fest & Movie Night held in Kings Point Park (Redbrook Rd. entrance) on Sat., Oct. 29, 6 – 8:30 p.m. In addition to the movie, enjoy Inflatables, spooky games, arts & crafts and lots of fun! No registration required.

Children ages 3-10, are invited to come in costume to the Halloween Hullabaloo, Sun. Oct. 30, 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Costume winners receive prizes; everyone receives a goody bag when exiting! Location may change Stay tuned! Registration required by GNPD residents only.

Join us for the Halloween Skate Parade at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink on Sun., Oct. 30, 3:15-4:15 p.m. Enjoy children’s activities and lots of spooky fun! Wear a costume for FREE admission and enter the parade. Free skate rental with a parade entry. No registration required. Non-resident admission fee applies.
