INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF EAST WILLISTON LEGAL NOTICE AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAWS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees (Board) of the Incorporated Village of East Williston (Village) will hold a public hearing on Monday NOVEMBER 16, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. to consider a Local†Law† amending† the Village Code, sections: 160-4(B) pertaining to the conduct of occupations at home within the Village; 160-32(D) pertaining to driveways; 160-4(B) pertaining to Floor Area Ratio and pertaining to the definitions of ìstructureî ìlot coverageî and ìdrainageî; 160-10(E) pertaining to the definition of ìfront yardî; 160-33 pertaining to lot coverage, lot area, lot width and yards; 160-61 to remove sky exposure plane requirements; 160-38 pertaining to swimming pools and hot tubs, required enclosures and lot coverage related to pools; and†PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Board will also consider amendments to the Code related to fees and costs relative to the issuance of building permits, plumbing permits, generator permits, and swimming pool permits.PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Board will also consider adding Chapter 161 pertaining to the registration of leased residential properties within the Village.PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Board will also consider a local law amending†Village Code Chapter 29 (currently entitled ìCode Enforcement Officerî) by re-naming said chapter as ìCode Enforcement Officer and Public Safety Officerî, adding section 29-5 entitled ìPublic Safety Officerî and identifying the role and duties of such Public Safety Officer.PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that this will be a combined ìin personî and virtual meeting.†The first 25 people who contact Village Hall at 516-746-0782 and ask to attend in- person will be permitted to be present in the meeting room in Village Hall at 2 Prospect Street, East Williston NY.
