LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Roslyn Estates on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 25 The Tulips, Roslyn Estates, New York 11576, for:  Case #642, the Application of Jason and Amy Katz, owners of 68 The Serpentine, Roslyn Estates, NY 11576, in R-12 zoning district, also known as Section 7, Block 213, Lot 13, on Nassau County Land and Tax Map, for variances from Village Code Sections 200-22(B.), 200-22(I.)(i)(a), and 200-27(A), to permit alterations and extension of existing single family home that would result in (i) lot coverage of 28.3%, where the maximum lot coverage permitted is 25% (existing lot coverage of 27.6% permitted under variance granted on 6/12/2017); (ii) a side yard sky exposure plane/height setback ratio of 1.5í (height) to 1.0 (length), where maximum permitted sky exposure plane/height setback ratio is 1.0í (height) to 1.0 (length); and (iii) floor area of 4,616.73 sq. ft., where maximum permitted floor area is 4,382.7 sq. ft..   At the public hearing, all persons will be given opportunity to be heard. Individuals wishing to review file may do so during Village business hours.
